About Me

I'm a pastor serving a wonderful congregation that has never had stained glass windows! I stumbled into Stained Glass art when preparing for a sabbatical, and as they say, the glass really got under my skin. I do much of my work at a local studio, while I slowly add to my home studio capabilities. I love working with glass, and I'd be happy to work with you! Since my glass work fits into the busy contours of my schedule as a full time pastor and mom to two active boys, projects with plenty of lead time will be the best bet. One of my favorite sabbatical pieces was a rainbow tree of life mosaic. It inspired my sabbatical tattoo, designed and expertly inked by Margaret Bushell. A friend asked if my tree figure had a name, and suggested Sophia, which is Greek for wisdom. I've also got a sense of humor that tends to sneak up on people. Put all of that together, and Wise Glass Studio was born!
