To state the obvious, your stained glass item is fragile and should be handled with care. It is best displayed in a place where it won't be easily bumped by people, objects, or pets. Always use a screw-in hook or a nail to hang your piece. Suction cups and fishing line are not recommended!
CLEANING: Your glass has been cleaned, polished, and buffed before it gets to you. I recommend using a microfiber cloth for buffing as needed. I don't recommend window cleaners, harsh chemicals, or other abrasive products, which could permanently damage your piece.
MOLD-LIKE CRUD: From time to time, solder or lead will oxidize and leave a whitish substance on its surface. Gently wipe with a q-tip or a non-abrasive cleaning cloth to remove the tarnish.
TOUCHING YOUR GLASS PIECE: Stained glass solder contains lead. Though it should be safe unless ingested or inhaled, I recommend washing your hands after handling the glass. For an added layer of precaution, any jewelry is made with lead-free solder.
